The Game I Plan To Continue With One Day

This is just a quick announcement post to say that one day I will continue working on Nameless. For now the game is indefinitely on hold. Over the past few months, I have started to lose more and more interest in the game. This could be because I have not chosen a direction to take the game in or because I keep adding unnecessary features. Whatever the reason might be, I have decided that for the foreseeable future I am not going to work on Nameless.

One day I hope to continue working on Nameless. If not I would like to implement some of the features I had planned with the game into another game. I am sorry if this news disappoints anyone (I expect it doesn’t). However, the good news is that my first ever finished game, ADROIT, is out now! Therefore, you can take that as consolation prize, I guess.

Nameless Development Log 03

This is the third development log update on my Nameless game. In this video I talk about all the updates since my last development log video. This includes the change in the game direction, change of art style, and what I am working on now for the game. I also state the release window for the game (it is not any time soon).

This is the second development log update on my still Nameless game,Nameless. In this video I talk about all the updates since my last development log video, which includes the new death state from falling too high, bugs, AI, fighting, bugs and I show a little glimpse of my new sprites for the player character.

I’m making a game! I know I have stated in past posts that I have been working on a game but I always stopped after a few weeks. This was due to the prototype not being fun or, the more likely option, I just became bored, uninterested and could not be bothered with it anymore.

Now I really want to make and complete a game. I should be able to accomplish this feat at least once in my lifetime. So I am making sure that this time it is going to be different. I have got a core game feature already planned out. This time I have even created a game design document where I outlined what I am going to do.
