Garage
The Garage is finally complete! This is where players can customize their vehicles with a variety of parts, including bonnets, spoilers, rims, and more, allowing for unique builds that suit each player’s style. But customization doesn’t stop at just swapping parts as players can also tweak individual paint sections of their car, making it truly their own.
For those players who prefer a quicker approach, a preset paint option is available. This lets players coat their entire vehicle in a single paint theme with just one click. Whether players want to build a sleek, futuristic ride or a scrappy, battle-hardened machine, the Garage will give players the freedom to make their car look as legendary as their driving skills.
Check out the video below, where I transform a classic 70s orange muscle car into a stealthy, night-ready beast.
Store Page
Big news—the store page is going live next week! That also means the announcement trailer is finished, and I can’t wait to share it. This trailer will serve as the first proper look at the game, showing off its intense challenges, brutal obstacles, and arcade vehicle physics in full force.
To give a small taste, here’s a teaser of the main gameplay art that will be featured on the store page.
I’ll post another update once the store page is officially live, so stay tuned!
Summary
This month, I hit all the major goals I set out to achieve. I originally planned to launch the store page sooner, but with Steam Next Fest and a flood of major game announcements happening, I decided to hold off for a better launch window. Timing is everything when it comes to visibility, and I want to make sure the game gets the best possible start.
With the Garage system fully built, the announcement trailer finished, and the store page almost ready to launch, February has been a very productive month.
Next month, my primary focus will shift back to challenges. My goal is to have over 70% of the single-player challenges completed, which means a lot of level design, balancing, and fine-tuning. Early testers have already been tearing through the existing challenges, and their feedback has been incredibly useful for making sure each one feels tough but fair (or at least just unfair enough to keep things interesting).
The finish line is still a way off, but with every update, no brake no gain is starting to feel more like the chaotic, high-skill game I’ve been envisioning.
Until next time, happy gaming!
