no brake no gain is finally complete, with it being approved on all platforms. The game has been optimized across the board, with GPU bottlenecks ironed out, memory usage tightened, and load times brought down. The game still has some stuttering on busy levels on the Nintendo Switch, but the overall experience is rock-solid.
With the builds locked, my attention now shifts to the final marketing push. That means creating the release trailer, assembling key art, and preparing store page assets so that the game makes the strongest impact possible when it launches. What about the launch date you say? Well I will be announcing that very soon!
Future
While no brake no gain is about to speed into release, development is not slowing down on my end. With one project finishing soon, another project is ready to be made in the workshop. I have started pre-production and prototyped some new ideas, all with the focus of fun gameplay mechanics.
I can’t reveal too much yet, but if you have enjoyed the design philosophy behind no brake no gain, which is arcade style mechanics, skill-focused progression, and systems that leave room for mastery, then you will want to keep your eye out for the next update. New game(s) will be announced sooner than you might expect.
Summary
A shorter update for this month but for a very obvious reason. With no brake no gain being wrapped up, the seeds of the next game are being planted. There is not much more to say right now apart from that the next update will include the release date for no brake no gain.
