Above is the video of the eSports finals tournament that happened at BIC Fest. Below is the video of the qualifiers that happened prior to BIC Fest.
Changed the camera (back) to isometric. Gives the level a ‘diorama’ feel. Also, a lot of other small changes/updates, such as bullet deflection and weapon throwing.
Akuto: Mad World still exists. I will be creating a bigger update in a week or two. As for now, here is a video showing the updated AI.
I just really liked the intro.
Here is the first (kind-of) trailer for Retool. It shows how to retool the levels to eliminate guards. The game is still in alpha and all the art and sounds are subject to be changed.
Sorry about the bad quality of the footage, OBS did not want to play nice.
The music is by Aaron Paul Low.
Remember, you can download the playable alpha version from GameJolt.
Here is a 5-second video showing the Retool logo in action. It makes the game look 11% better than before.
I have made a video showing the first playable version of Retool, and I do use playable in the loosest sense. In the video, I talk about the following points:
- The name change of the game, from Bounty Hunter to Retool
- What the game is about
- The objectives in a level
- How the electronic network system (ENS?) works
- My influences, which includes Gunpoint and Hitman
Drop me an email if you want to try out the practice level and give me feedback.
This is the third development log update on my Nameless game. In this video I talk about all the updates since my last development log video. This includes the change in the game direction, change of art style, and what I am working on now for the game. I also state the release window for the game (it is not any time soon).
If you got any questions, feedback or ideas about the game then leave a comment or hit me up on Twitter.
