It will have all the same content, same updates, and the same type of jokes. The only thing that has changed is the website theme. Instead of managing and updating my own theme, I decided to use WordPress’ Twenty Sixteen theme. This means less work for me and better content viewing for you. Why you ask? Because I was getting too lazy to manage and update my own theme. Enjoy.
This was announced last week, but I never noticed that Retool was selected. But hey, better later than never to notice it. Nevertheless, Retool was selected as a finalist in the puzzle category for the TIGA Awards 2016. This is a proud moment in my relatively short gamedev career.
Akuto: Mad World has been selected as one of the games for the game expo at BICFest (Busan Indie Connect Festival). You can join me there and play the game between September 9 and September 11 2016 in Busan, South Korea. Yes, you read that right. Akuto has gone international! From Vienna to Busan to who knows where next. You can find out more information about BICFest here.
I think this is the first game jam I participated in this year. As always, I had enjoyed my time and it allowed me to create a game from scratch within 72 hours.
For Radius Festival 2016 game jam, I created a game called ‘No Connection: Don’t Be Late’. No Connection: Don’t Be Late is a game about Mr. Rabbit, who missed his connection train and his wife is about to give birth. Now, he must steal and race vehicles to get back home in time to witness the birth of his child.
Akuto: Mad World will be playable for the first time at Radius Festival in Vienna, Austria. Come join me there and become one of the first people to play the game. Maybe there will be prizes there as well. Just maybe. There will be different games being exhibited every day, and Akuto will be playable on Sunday July 24, 2016. You can find out more information about Radius Festival here.
